Latitude isn t just about music and colourful sheep, but has a full spectrum of art including film, comedy, theatre, cabaret, dance, poetry, literature and art together for a fun-filled, cultural adventure by the sea. The ninth Latitude which has a capacity of 35,000 will take place from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July 2014.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at Â£187.50 with a Family Camping option also available, a teen weekend ticket is priced at Â£132.50, with a weekend ticket for all children aged 5 -12 years priced at Â£5. Latitude provide a 2-for-1 scheme, for disabled ticket holders who require a full time assistant with a free ticket for their PA. They give priority to customers in receipt of Higher Rate assistance for Personal Care and Mobility although each application is considered individually. The 2 for 1 scheme will open in April 2013. Applications cannot be submitted before this date. To be eligible for the scheme the booking reference number will be needed in order to apply for a free ticket for a carer or PA.
Each year, a theme or group of ideas underscores Latitude s arts programme.Â The theme for 2014 will beÂ Secrets, exploring the difficult relationship between the private and public worlds of individuals, communities and wider society.

In the Film And Music arena Esben and the Witch will score La Antena , Charlie Lyne s Beyond Clueless film narrated by Fairuza Balk, will be accompanied by a live score from Summer Camp, Teeth Of The Sea will be performing The Last Man their audio-visual musical interpretation of George Orwellâ€™s 1984, and Suns of the Tundra will be providing a live score to the1919 documentary film Southwill .
The Cabaret/Live Art on offer includes Duckie, Miss Behaveâ€™s Gameshow, Queens Of Pop, Margaret Thatcher Queen Of Soho, Eastend Cabaret, Ophelia Bitz, The Golden Boys, Jonny Woo return with a multimedia show bringing Lou Reedâ€™s Transformer to The Faraway Forest, with aerial artist Empress Stah presenting Stargasm in Pandoraâ€™s Playground. Elsewhere Soho Theatre will present Christeene , ukulele cabaret act The Martini Encounter, wild performance collective Artful Badger, Richard Dedomenici s new piece Security Theatre , the Panopticon filming boot, Lucy Hutson, Tom Wainwright, Ellie Stamp, Ruth Ivo, and cabaret duo House Of Blakewell host a House Party in the forest, and more to be announced.
Latitude has an exclusive cultural programme housed across ten separate arts arenas, as well as making use of the woods and lake, the festival will showcase comics, filmmakers, visual artists, poets, authors, actors, directors ond dancers in the Arts Arenas – The Comedy, Poetry, Literacy, Theatre, Music & Film, Dance and Cabaret Arena.
The children s arena is a mini-festival in itself, with local children s organisations firmly at its heart. There s a dizzying range of activities and entertainment including art and craft workshops, theatre and puppet shows, local author events, and activities for budding chefs, wildlife explorers and wannabe west-end performers plus older kids should prepare for the things like bushcraft challenges. From babies to teenagers, Latitude guarantees the children s arena will wear out the toughest of infants. There will be a Baby and Toddler chill out tent which also includes a soft play area, free sunscreen, baby changing and food warming facilities and more. There are even activities for babies, plus fun in the family campsite for early risers who can t wait to play. Latitude has several areas dedicated to entertaining teenagers too with The Inbetweeners Area a space for teens who want their own space at Latitude featuring music, media & technology workshops, bushcraft skills and wild play.
There is a dedicated family campsite, for families with children under 13 (who can attend for FREE) within the public camping area and also a family campervan area within family camping.
