Sonisphere 2014

Hertfordshire s Knebworth House is hosting a weekend marks 40 years of rock concerts in the legendary grounds of Knebworth Park and this is confirmed as happening from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th July 2014 under the Sonisphere banner.
Latest additions are HIM, Comeback Kid, Sweet Savage, October File, Eureka Machines, The Bots, Straight Lines, Zico Chain, Black Dogs, Love Zombies, Stormzone, Shrine, Rival State, The Wild Lies, The Raven Age, and Empire Kill.
The Prodigy will kick off the weekend with a bang on Friday night followed by Iron Maiden on Saturday night and Metallica closing the festival on Sunday. Also confirmed are Limp Bizkit, The Sisters of Mercy, Alice in Chains,  Dream Theater, Devil You Know, Yashin, Ghost, Gojira, Karnivool, and Mastodon all as exclusives, as well as Dog Eat Dog performing ‘All Boro Kings’, Electric Wizard, Anti-flag, Black Spiders, Brutality Will Prevail, Empire, Krokodil, Raging Speedhorn, Reckless Love, Stampin Ground, TesseracT, The Defiled,  Babymetal, Therapy?, Atari Teenage Riot, Bo Ningen, Trash Talk, Canterbury, LostAlone, Bleed From Within, Dregen, TRC, Beastmilk, Malefice, Glass City Vice, The Hell, The Hype Theory, The Safety Fire, Deftones, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Reel Big Fish, Protest The Hero, Alestorm, Truckfighters, Kerbdog, Only Crime, Blitz Kids, Itch, Band Of Skulls, Gary Numan, 65daysofstatic, Bam Margera s FuckFace Unstoppable, Little Matador, Carcass, The Winery Dogs, New Model Army, Sebastian Bach, Turbowolf, The Bronx, Gallows, Chiodos, Anti-Nowhere League, The Lounge Kittens, Max Raptor, Hounds, Slayer, Anthrax, Carnifex, Chas & Dave, Silverstein, The Virginmarys, Voodoo Six, and Airbourne, The Cadillac Three, Glamour Of The Kill, Palm Reader, Broken Hands, Fort Hope, The One Hundred, and Collibus.

Tickets are priced at £170 or £205 with camping, plus booking fees. A car parking pass is £18 and a campervan pass is £65.
Friday tickets are priced at £55 and Saturday or Sunday tickets are priced at £75.
There is also a deposit scheme available for a first non-refundable payment of £50.
The festivals is for all ages, under 16s accompanied by an adult 18+. Children under 5 are not advised but will be admitted. The campsite will opens on Thursday 3rd July at 1pm and will close at midday on Monday 7th July with the arena opening at 10am on Friday 4th July.
On Saturday July 5th, The Great War Display Team, a group of pilots which includes Bruce Dickinson, will stage a spectacular 12 minute air display in the skies above Knebworth at approximately 6pm.
The Friday fancy dress theme is wrestlers.
