An acoustic guitar lesson on how to play “Heart of Gold” by Neil Young. It’s off the classic Harvest album which was released on February 14, 1972, considered by many as his greatest album. To me this may be his best song ever. It’s stood the test of time and still gets a lot of attention today.

This is a great tune to learn for advanced strummers. Although there’s just four chords in this one, it’s not as easy to play as it appears as there’s a lot of palm muting going on and to get the “feel” right with the strumming it will definitely take some work.

The guitar is a Taylor 214ce Koa Deluxe…FANTASTIC guitar!

Give me a thumbs up if you like the lesson, and SUBSCRIBE man!

Thanks for watching and good luck with the tune.
