This years fancy dress theme, as suggested by you will be… TV shows/ DVD box sets.
The site is expected to open to Early Entry Pass holders from 1pm on Thursday 10th July, and opening hours for general admission tickets, will be from 8am onwards on the Friday, and the festival entertainment starts at midday on the Friday. The site will close at 2pm on Sunday 12th July.
The festival offers a terrific site wide Silent Disco with multiple DJs on offer and the chance to wander around the site listening to them based at three stages until 3am with much more differentiation in musical styles too.
This year the stages are being re-named in tribute to now fallen music venues in Cheltenham and Bristol, in support of a national campaign to save independent music venues from closure. The Axiom is a different tent in a new part of the site and has replaced the Leaf Lounge, and the Greenhouse and become The Croft.
The site is well laid out and easy enough to navigate, and it s worth seeking out the late night secret venue. There are good food options and decent ales, ciders, lagers, and the like on offer in the bars. Whilst this festival is not specifically geared at providing much stuff for kids to do, it is still child friendly and kids are unlikely to get lost, although ear defenders are recommended for the little ones as it can get loud at times in the enclosed Cave stage. The festival does not allow campervans.
More information will be here when available.
