BluesFest returns to London between Sunday 26th to Friday 31st October at the Royal Albert Hall. This is the first full scale music festival of its kind to be hosted at the venue. Performances taking place not just in the main auditorium, but also in other spaces around the Hall during the daytime.Â
Headliners Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Georgie Fame, Sheryl Crow, and Level 42 are joined by Beth Hart, Gregory Porter, Robert Cray, The Silver Rays, Red Sky July, Paul Lamb & The King Snakes, Mud Morganfield, Andy Fairweather Low, Nell Bryden, Jo Harman, Ben Poole, Marcus Bonfanti, Dan Owen, Mitch Laddie, Babajack, The Excitements, Big Boy Bloater, Nigel Mooney, Jon Allen, Mike Sanchez, Matt White Trio, Never The Bride, Danny Toeman, Si Cranstoun, Cadillac Kings, Bex Marshall, The Hoax, Dr Feelgood, Danny Bryant, Paddy Milner, Matt Taylor, The Bad Apples, Nina Ferro, and Jason Rebello
Performances will not just take place in the main auditorium, but also in other rooms around the building during the daytime, utilising the Grade 1 listed venueâ€™s varied selection of performance spaces. Alongside the headline concerts in the main auditorium each evening, some of the additional daytime activity returns including intimate sessions from festival artists, exclusive exhibitions, showcases, and an â€˜In Conversation Withâ€™ series.
These include a Blues Storytelling Session for Kids, and the â€˜In Conversation Withâ€™ talks, with broadcasters Robert Elms and Paul Jones interviewing acts on the bill.

Tickets are priced from Â£15 upwards for an adult daytime stroller ticket, which are free for children.
The idea of an international celebration of blues and jazz originated from the Marquee Club s enterprising young promoter Harold Pendleton, who played a key role in developing jazz and rock scenes in London, the original festival became a forerunner of today s Reading Festival.Â
Continuing the festival theme, there will be various food and bar stalls, merchandise and stands all open throughout the day, it is the only opportunity for visitors to see the Royal Albert Hall host an event in this way and is a must for lovers of live music.
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area. More information will be here when available.
