Festibelly 2014

After a year out Festibelly, the small festival held in Lymington, Hampshire surrounded by the New Forest, returns on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July, and provides two chilled days, a party nighttime, camping, and features emerging talent from the Indie, Rock, Pop, Acoustic, and Reggae scenes.
The Cuban Brothers top the bill on Friday, and Hudson Taylor will headline Saturday, with a line-up that includes David Rodigan, with his Ram Jam featuring Jus Now, and Reggae Roast, plus Mighty Oaks, Femme, Skinny Lister, Mausi, Dems, Wild Smiles, Ginger And The Ghost, Lexy and The Kill, Adam Street Singers, Annie Eve, Black Gold Buffalo, Charlie Cunningham, Dios Mio, Farmageddon, Feldspar, Gaps, The Operators, and Plastic Mermaids.
Also confirmed are Amber Run, Reeps One, Southern, Laurel, New Desert Blues, Phoria, The Death Of Pop, Miracle Blow, Annie Winter, Cannon Street Armada, Little Giants, Joe Booley, The Golden Age, Princess Slayer, Strand Brackets, The Plastic Dots, Luke Ferre Band, and Damn Beats.
Completing the line-up are Moriarty, Lewis Floyd Henry, The Dirty Gentlemen, The Brass Funkeys, Atella The Pun, Musical Bingo, Life Drawing Classes, The Balkanoes, Woohoo Revue, Decadent Times Music & Dance, Ballroom & Latin Dance Classes, Gospeloke, Blind Date, Cheeky Kita, The Thumping Tommy’s, and The Golden Boys.
Once the main stage entertainment has finished, the campfire will offer a good old sing song with some exclusive acoustic sets from the featured artists.
Plus the late night Silent Disco line-up will also feature The Cuban Brothers this time as Kengo alongside Late Night Tales DJs, Cat Lovers DJs, and Amazing Radio DJs.
Early bird tickets have sold out. Tickets are priced at £75 for the weekend, a youth weekend ticket (age 11-15 years) is priced at £60. Children aged under 11 years can attend for free.
2014 sees the addition of a brand new bar stocked with fine festival tipples, from craft ales to decadent cocktails. A new dining experience will be offered for those wanting to get off their feet and indulge in an extravagant three course feast, prepared and hosted by some of their favourite New Forest foodie institutions, alongside culinary masterclasses and belly-rumbling bake offs.
On top of the festival’s two days and nights, Sunday morning will see the festival spring back to life for a final few hours before the journey home. A welcome distraction from that sore head will come in the form of a Great British Brunch, a New Forest farmers market, kids fancy dress finale, and most importantly the chance to put your feet up with a paper.
The site offers food stalls from local sources, catering for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The Festibar will also be stocked with soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
The Owlery, a space dedicated to wee Festi-critters, returns bigger and better in 2014 ensuring the future festi-goers are well looked after throughout the weekend. This year is will feature arts and crafts, fancy dress, face painting, circus skills, talent shows, dancing, play workshops, and a sparkly jungle parade.
Festibelly has a safe and friendly atmosphere and welcomes people (and dogs) of all ages. The event provides clean toilets, with washbasins, mirrors and lighting. Wildlife roams freely, please drive carefully and respect the environment. No glass objects will be allowed onto the site. Festibelly is easily accessible by train and the site is just a 10-minute walk from Lymington station. If traveling from London there is a regular train service from London Waterloo to Brockenhurst, to which you can then change to a one-stop service to Lymington.
