Hannahs Beer and Music Festival 2014
The charity Hannahs at Seale-Hayne will be hosting their first annual beer and music festival on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August 2014. Supported by South Devon CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and BMAD, the festival will offer more than 40 local real ales and ciders, as well as a Pimms and Wine Bar and Music across two stages.
The main quad stage will feature a line-up of some of local bands from across the south west including These Reigning Days, Moriaty, Clara Bond, The Loose Cannons, Society Rocks, Sound of the Sirens, Out of Isca, The Weekend, Jake Friese-Green, Clara Bond,Someday I, Nicole Wakeling, Kyle Coleman and Hannahs All Stars, Steve Ley, Society Rocks, and Moriaty.
The festival will close on the Sunday with an impressive sound and light show from The Darkside of Pink Floyd. A second acoustic stage well offer a more chilled-out alternatives with, Curacao Trio, Wildwood Kin, Nic Shaw, Simon Scott, Chay Snowdon, Alice Gullick, Heartwave, Samba Roc, Apaloosas, Elise Yiull, Jess Vincent, and Sam Fearon.
Hannahs Access All Aerials Radio Station will also be broadcasting live on both days..
Tickets are priced at Â£5 a day (or Â£3.50 for children aged under 16 years).
On the Saturday morning, BMAD (Bikers make a Difference) are organising a bike rally in front of the main Seale-Hayne buildings, while they are also expecting a visit from a group of beach buggy enthusiasts, adding to the colour and spectacle. The entire festival is family friendly, especially during the day time and there will also be children s activities on the Sunday afternoon.
Hannahs will have a range of food on offer over the weekend, ideal for soaking up some of the beer, while there will also be stalls selling a quirky mix of treats. Hannahs shops and artist studios will also be open during the day, while don t forget to pop in and see the stunning free digital art exhibition in the main gallery.
The organisers are keep to keep the event as car free as possible and are encouraging people to share taxis, arrange a drop off or to take advantage of the shuttle busses running from Newton Abbot Train Station and Ashburton.
There is also a range of cheap accommodation available on site with prices starting at Â£20 a night, as well as camper van parking and limited camping. More information will be here when available.
