Holifair is a community fundraising event for the The Holifield Farm Project Day Care Centre for people with Special Needs. Past Holifair s have paid for a tractor, the start of a classroom, Solar Panels, amongst other useful tools for the trainees on the project.
This environmentally-friendly festival actively encourages public transport and car-sharing. The majority of all energy used on site from solar, and they keep the use of disposable plastic to a minimum. The bar cups are re-usable and our Solar power is provided by Resource Living and Mobile Solar Stage Productions, as well as their own Solar Panels.
Holifair has a main stage, Marquee stage, DJ area, chillout and experimental areas for all kinds of musical enjoyment – which at Holifair ranges from folk, gypsy, punk, blues and reggae all the way to dance.
There is a Kids Area with all kinds of workshops, storytelling, fun and games throughout the festival as well as The Secret Grove – the Wellbeing & Craft Area with artists, alternative therapists and practitioners of the mysterious and magical. Holifield Farm Project has plenty of compost loos in the camping and events fields. There is a disabled loo and a sink for hand washing. There is also a fire pit. The camping field is split: there is a quiet area for family camping and a non-family camping area. There is also an area for live in vehicles. There are several sinks in the camping field for washing dishes, and rubbish and recycling bins are situated in the camping field and the festival field.More information will be here when available.
