Hertfordshire s Knebworth House is hosting a weekendÂ marks 40 years of rock concerts in the legendary grounds of Knebworth Park and this is confirmed as happening from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th July 2014 under the Sonisphere banner.

The Prodigy will kick off the weekend with a bang on Friday night followed by Iron Maiden on Saturday night and Metallica closing the festival on Sunday. Tickets are priced at Â£170 or Â£205 with camping, plus booking fees. A car parking pass is Â£18 and a campervan pass is Â£65.
Friday tickets are priced at Â£55 and Saturday or Sunday tickets are priced at Â£75.
There is also aÂ deposit schemeÂ available for a first non-refundable payment of Â£50.
The festivals is for all ages, under 16s accompanied by an adult 18+. Children under 5 are not advised but will be admitted. The campsite will opens on Thursday 3rd July at 1pm and will close at midday on Monday 7th July with the arena opening at 10am on Friday 4th July.
On Saturday July 5th, The Great War Display Team, a group of pilots which includes Bruce Dickinson, will stage a spectacular 12 minute air display in the skies above Knebworth at approximately 6pm.
The Friday fancy dress theme is wrestlers.
