Summer Sonic 2014

Summer Sonic is an annual Japanese festival, now in it s 15th year taking place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August at the twin sites of Chiba Marine Stadium& Makuhari Messe, Tokyo and Maishima Sports Island, Osaka.
The first of more than 120 acts across 8 stages are confirmed including Arctic Monkeys, Robert Plant and The Strange Sensation, Avenged Sevenfold, Phoenix, Superfly, The 1975, Krewella, Vintage Trouble, Reignwolf, Megadeth, Ghost, Suicidal Tendencies, Babymetal, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Coldrain, The Bots, Folks, Cibo Matto, Twenty | One | Pilots, Jamaica, White Lies, Sky Ferreira, Telegram, Childhood, Happy, Chthonic & The Oriental Orchestra, Crossfaith, Magic Power, My First Story, Tokio, White Ash, Kidori Kidori, De La Soul, Pete Rock & Cl Smooth, The Pharcyde, Zak Waters, Little Dragon, Meaning, Over Arm Throw, Country Yard, Secret 7 Line, Four Get Me A Nots, Razors Edge, Antemasque, Mogwai, Heartsrevolution, Destructo, Mike Relm, Marcus Schossow, CTS, Queen with Adam Lambert, Avril Lavigne, Richie Sambora , Dreams Come True, Little Mix, A Great Big World, Timeflies, Kraftwerk, Ellie Goulding, Banks, Robert Glasper Experiment, Azealia Banks, Mayday, The Bawdies, Pixies, The Horrors, Ben Watt, Bernard Butler, Metronomy, Charli XCX, Circa Waves, The Orwells, The Hiatus, Boom Boom Satellites, and Dinosaur Pile Up.
Tickets are priced at 28,500 yen for Tokyo, and 23,500 yen for Osaka. The majority of the bands playing in Osaka the first day go to Chiba (Tokyo) the following day and vice versa. The line-up is a mix of international acts alongside local ones from both major and indie record companies. More information will be here when available.
